July 2, 2018: I apologize for not updating in so long!  Recent news: I completed a commission for the Chandler Children's Choir (Chandler, AZ) called I Can Sing, I Can Fly, and attended the premier in May.  The piece will be published in Spring 2019 by Shawnee Press.  Other news: Masters In This Hall was chosen for the JW Pepper Editor's Choice list as well as the Texas Choir Director's Association Festival list.

April 19, 2016: Just out!  Psallam Deo for SSA choir.  I also just got word that it has already been chosen for JWPepper's Editor's Choice list!  Check out the two recordings on the Home page!  Available from lorenz.com or your favorite music retailer.

October 2014: Just received word that my "Images of Stars" (SSAATTBB), set to a Shakespeare text from Romeo and Juliet, has been chosen one of the finalists for the Ithaca College Thirty-Sixth Annual Choral Composition Contest.  The piece will be performed there on Nov. 15th. Update: "Images of Stars" won second place!

New SSA piece, "Psallam Deo", written for the Reed Academy Treble Choir, Springfield, Missouri, directed by Danny Gutierrez, to be premiered by them at the MMEA Convention in Osage Beach, Missouri, January 29th, 2015.  I can't wait! Update: The performance was fabulous and I had so much fun with the Reed Academy Choir!  You can hear it by following the link on the main page.  Psallam Deo will be published Spring, 2016 by Heritage Music Press.
