July 2, 2018: I apologize for not updating in so long!  Recent news: I completed a commission for the Chandler Children's Choir (Chandler, AZ) called I Can Sing, I Can Fly, and attended the premier in May.  The piece will be published in Spring 2019 by Shawnee Press.  Other news: Masters In This Hall was chosen for the JW Pepper Editor's Choice list as well as the Texas Choir Director's Association Festival list.

October 2014: Just received word that my "Images of Stars" (SSAATTBB), set to a Shakespeare text from Romeo and Juliet, has been chosen one of the finalists for the Ithaca College Thirty-Sixth Annual Choral Composition Contest.  The piece will be performed there on Nov. 15th. Update: "Images of Stars" won second place!

New SSA piece, "Psallam Deo", written for the Reed Academy Treble Choir, Springfield, Missouri, directed by Danny Gutierrez, to be premiered by them at the MMEA Convention in Osage Beach, Missouri, January 29th, 2015.  I can't wait!
